Cooking. Something that did not come naturally to me at the caliber of what was being proposed. No form of meat from any animal along with items derived from any animal meaning no dairy and no eggs.
As a long term sufferer of AGS, add other food allergies into that and that is how I became vegan.
With trial and error, support and having no choice, cooking was a requirement. Along with cooking being a requirement, going out to eat has become less and less.
